Summary: Hadassah is the largest Zionist organization in the Diaspora, the largest and most active women's organization in Jewish history, and the largest women's organization in the United States. The history of Hadassah is inseparable from the history of American Jewry and of the State of Israel; this is an extensive, diverse, and balanced contribution to both those areas as well as to the history of Jewish women.
